OUR STORY

Jess's Story

Hi, I’m Jess.

I’m a former Great British and Irish athlete, having competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and ranking as Ireland’s second-fastest 400m hurdler.

 

My experience in elite athletics has taught me resilience, goal-setting, and the importance of both physical and mental preparation—making me the perfect fitness coach to get you wedding-ready as a couple.

I’ve faced setbacks through injuries and psychological challenges, however, I didn’t let them define me! Reinventing myself as a hurdler, I quickly became one of Britain and Ireland’s fastest athletes. That same mindset—overcoming obstacles and staying focused on your goals—is what I want to pass on to you.

Training should be something you enjoy. When you look forward to it, the results follow. Together, we’ll set achievable goals, push through challenges, and ensure you’re feeling strong, confident, and ready to celebrate your big day!

OUR STORY

Dan's Story

My story as an athlete stretches back over 20 years, to when I was just 13 years old. I have worked alongside many coaches on my journey to becoming an elite athlete, and through the age groups have won several national titles.

 

Throughout my senior career, there have been a lot of setbacks, many through injuries, but this has taught me a lot about resilience, determination and will power to get back on the start line and compete with the very best. 

I carry this mentality into my transformational coaching today. Everyone is physically capable of improving themselves, but many lack the mental strength to see a challenge through to its conclusion.

 

I promise to provide that accountability and motivation that served me so well in my career to our clients at VOW, ensuring that each couple gets the very best out of themselves and reach their physical and mental peak for their big day.

WHEN TWO BECAME ONE

Our Story Together

One of the most transformative chapters of our journey, was being coached by each other. As we exercised together, not only did our fitness improve, but our relationship grew stronger too. We were able to share the experience of training, pushing each other to reach new limits, and supporting one another through challenges.

 

That partnership had a huge positive impact on our career and overall mindset. It made us realise that when you’re on the same team—especially in something as personal as fitness—you can achieve incredible things together. 

That’s exactly why we created VOW. We wanted to build a platform where couples could access everything they need to train, eat, and succeed—together. VOW is about making your fitness journey not just about the destination, but about building something lasting with the person you care about most.
